About Grant Williams

With over 15 years of experience in the service and hospitality industry, I am a dedicated Food & Beverage professional with a true passion for food and drink. For the past 5 years, I’ve specialized in Beverage Sales and Bar Management. I was the first Kentucky-based employee of Voyager, a natural wine distributor from Columbus, OH, where I played a pivotal role in growing the business. I quickly expanded a small route into a major success, quadrupling its size and profit in just a few months. Currently, I serve as a Field Sales Associate & Brand Ambassador for SIP, focusing on Heaven’s Door Whiskey. My extensive experience as a Beverage Director and Bar Manager is most notably from my time at The Champagnery in Louisville, KY. Under my leadership, The Champagnery earned recognition as one of the "Top 10 Champagne Bars in North America" by the Comité Champagne in France. As a Level 1 Sommelier, I have a significant expertise in wine, as well as curating wine & beer menus. I also have vast experience in cocktails, having written numerous menus around Louisville - including one cocktail featured that was featured in Edible Kentucky & Southern Indiana in Fall 2021. For that specific cocktail, I focused on using farm-to-cocktail ingredients, utilizing locally sourced produce, maple syrup, and organic gin. From classic to modern cocktails, I am well-versed in creating original drinks, infusions, milk punches, oleo saccharums, and more. My greatest strength lies in my ability to lead by example. I believe in interacting with people in a way that inspires trust and respect, remaining even-tempered, mild-mannered, and calm under pressure. While not the most vocal leader, I pride myself on “walking the walk” and fostering a positive team environment. Outside of work, I am a proud father of three, engaged to a wonderful partner, and grateful for the support of my amazing family. In my downtime, you’ll find me playing golf, enjoying a great meal or drink, cooking at home, or spending time with my Rottweiler and black cat.
