I am Greg Bialecki, Principal at Redgate and your partner in navigating the complex world of real estate development. I have a background spanning over 30 years in both public and private sectors. My mission is to identify promising sites and guide the transformation of urban spaces, breathing new life into neighborhoods and fueling economic growth. As a former Cabinet Secretary for the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development for Massachusetts, I deeply understand the public sector's needs and priorities. This invaluable experience allows me to build consensus between public ambition and private investment, crafting outcomes that resonate with all stakeholders. I have played a pivotal role in some of Massachusetts' most complex and impactful urban redevelopment projects. From planning and permitting to financing and construction, I have successfully navigated the challenges and opportunities to create mixed-use, transit-oriented developments. Some of my current and past projects include: L Street Power Station | Boston, MA: A 15-acre redevelopment of a decommissioned power plant into 1.7 million square feet of mixed-use development, including lab, office, residential, hotel, and retail uses. NorthPoint | Cambridge, MA: A 5 million square feet mixed-use development that I permitted as a lawyer at Hill & Barlow and DLA Piper. North Bethesda Metro Development | Strategic advisory for transit-oriented development. The team has quantified the site infrastructure needs, evaluated the market conditions, and framed a stakeholder approach. Rooted in a solid academic foundation, I approach each project with a blend of financial acumen and legal expertise.
