I'm currently working as a Compliance Analyst providing subject matter expertise in the area of HIPAA privacy and security to a workforce of employees. In this role, my major responsibilities lie in coordinating the development, implementation, assignment, and tracking of awareness training, policy development and maintenance, and incident response and management. Prior to my current role, I worked for 9 years as the Privacy & Security Coordinator for a business unit providing fiscal agent operations to the Colorado Medicaid program. In this role, I was responsible for overseeing business unit compliance in the areas of data privacy, physical security, information security, safety, business continuity, and audits/assessments.
