About Gregory Dias

Greg Dias was born in Uganda and immigrated to Canada at the age of 19. He was educated at McGill University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering. While working for Union Carbide he completed his MBA part-time at McGill and later on took a course in creative writing. He is the founder of three charitable organizations, The Global Aid Committee, Help U Grow Charity for Uganda and the Youth Empowerment Support (YES) Group. Greg embarked on a journey of writing his father’s memoir during his creative writing course and completed his manuscript several years later. His first novel entitled “Off to the Races” was released in August 2023. Greg published two articles in “Our Canada” magazine. He compiled several booklets and continued his passion for writing by publishing several articles in Medium.Greg Dias is a An author that is launching his first published book in August 2023. He has written several articles in Our Canada Magazine and Medium. Greg has a 31 year-history of working in the oil & energy industry. Greg is skilled in Negotiation, Petroleum, SAP ERP, Microsoft Excel, and Strategic Planning. Greg is a strong community and social services professional who graduated from McGill University.
