About Gregory Libby

I am the Safety Director for a chemical manufacturing company. I oversee all phases of safety and compliance throughout the plant in a variety of operations and production as well as OSHA, EPA, DOL, and DOT compliance. I serve as an intermediary between company administration and hourly personnel and oversee different aspects of hazards related to the chemicals that we handle in the plant and the material handling that is performed as part of trans-loading. I am a certified HAZMAT Technician and help lead the company's HAZMAT Response Team. Additionally I conduct all new hire safety orientation and annual compliance training and am a certified HAZWOPER Instructor. I also serve as an officer and medical provider for my local fire department. I am highly adaptable to situations, provide critical thinking and "outside the box" creativity, and perform very well under pressure. I pride myself in my knowledge and experience and constantly seek to learn and experience new things. I value Integrity, Loyalty, and Dependability as core values that I live my life by. I do have a competitive nature, but also function well as part of a team. I enjoy many hobbies and value my family and time with my children as a vital part of who I am.
