I am an experienced change leader in all aspects of active ingredient discovery and optimization from devising strategies to implementing these. Though out my career in Crop Protection Research I have established a track record of effectively leading change through a combination data-driven strategic insights and taking the long road of addressing the people and cultural elements necessary for change. Many of these learnings are directly translatable to any life sciences research setting. My current passions are: Leading the digitization of chemical synthesis to enable to accelerate the discovery and optimization process of active ingredients. How can the right data foundations, the use of automation and machine learning can enhance the capabilities of chemists to synthesize the right compounds? How do you effectively lead a large organization through this change? Using visualizations, dashboards and storytelling with data to support leadership teams and operational teams embed a data-driven decision making culture.
