Tokyo8 Global
We aim to find solutions to chemical fertilizers with our biofertilizer Tokyo8. We do not aim to export but to find collaborators for local production. Tokyo8 is a microorganism based biofertilizer. It improves the soil quality by helping to restore its vigor through the activity of microorganisms. The microorganisms from Tokyo8 will process the nutrients present in the soil and make it easier for the plant to absorb it. Therefore, by using this product, you can gradually decrease your use of chemical fertilizers. It works best with organic fertilizers such as beef or chicken manure, it is important to note that you need to use it with a source of organic matter. Also, Tokyo8 increases germination rate and makes stronger seedlings. This leads to better growth and higher quality crops. Tokyo8 also decrease the time to harvest. Unlike other biofertilizers, which mostly contain a few different microorganisms, Tokyo8 is a consortium of more than 1500 microorganisms. It means it can fulfill different functions, adapt and work on different soils. Tokyo8 is easy to use, you just have to mix it with water. In addition to that, it has no unpleasant smell and even removes them. What does Tokyo 8 do? Improve soil quality Improve germination rate and make seedlings stronger Improve the absorption of nutrients from the soil and from organic matter Prevent damage from repeated cultivation Improve root system Makes the crop less susceptible from damage from pests and diseases Higher quality vegetables Lower usage of pesticides and fertilizers Local production with affordable price Easy to use and no smell

Towing Co., Ltd
TOWING is an agri-tech startup from Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan which develops and sells "Soratan," a high-performance biochar. Soratan enables soil preparation that typically takes 3 to 5 years in fields to be completed in just about 1 month. TOWING's unique "High-Performance Soil Technology" for soil development is a microorganism culture technology created by adding microorganisms to biochar (porous material) such as plant charcoal, mixed with organic fertilizer, and managed under appropriate conditions. TOWING's proprietary technologies related to biochar pretreatment and microbial cultivation are combined with technologies developed by the National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO) for practical use. When applied wilth Soratan, it is possible to reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 1 ton 10 a (per rice paddy case). By using Soratan instead of arctic spraying at the time of switching cropping, the farmland can be converted to high-quality farmland in about one month. The following benefits can be obtained by installing Soratan- Reduction of chemical fertilizers (e.g, 50% reduction in Japanese spinach)- Reduction of frequency of compost application (from annually to once every 3 years)- Improvement in land utilization rate (mitigation of continuous crop failure → 1.5 times higher than before)- Increase in added value and sales through environmental contributions - Proxy acquisition and sale of carbon credits based on the amount of Soratan applied, and partial return of profits from the sale of the carbon credits
