About Guy van Heurck

I have been working within Tractebel since 1991 and have gained a thorough experience as Electrical Expert, Project Manager as well as Product Manager and Competence Centres Manager During about 10 years (1991-2001), a solid base as Electrical Expert, working mainly for nuclear and power plant projects, has been build up. The scope covered the complete electrical design, the construction as well as the commissioning of the projects (Design, Specification, Procurement, FAT's, Site supervision and Commissioning). For about 14 years (2002-2015), I have been active as Project Manager for "Transmission and Distribution" as well as "Power Plant" projects. During the years as Project Manager a close link towards the details of the technical execution of the realized projects has been kept. During the period 2013-2015, I have been, aside of the work as Project Manager, Product Manager for Tractebels (BE Belgium) European T&D projects covering onshore as well as Offshore High Voltage Substations. From 2016 onward until the beginning of 2019, I guided the T&D Competence Centres for which I developed an extensive knowledge management system. In 2018, I have been recognized as a key expert within Tractebel with respect to HV-Substations and Offshore High Voltage Substations. As from 2018, I give a class on "Distribution of the electrical energy" at the university KU-Leuven - Campus De Nayer. In 2019, I have been nominated as head of Business Support within the Tractebel Belgium Energy Business Line. Finally, since June 2020, I'm the Head of Quality for the Tractebel Business Entity Belgium.
