About Hamdani Rianda

Started working in the plantation in 1995 at PT. PP LONSUM. Starting as a division assistant after receiving training at the Lonsum Training Center. Initially working in the division with area still Land Clearing and new planting, also involved in the process of surveying and land acquisition until the area to be mature and arrange harvesting activities. Then involved in taking care of the nursery while at PT. Agro Indomas, manages Land Development and is ultimately responsible for Mature area. While managing divisions and estates, we are never experience production under the budget, we can always reach the budget. With a fairly complete experience starting from the beginning until the harvesting, I was several times assigned to improve the Estate whose performance was not good. Starting from production under budget, cost above budget, employees often strike, FFB often leftover, fertilization often delays and low agronomic evaluation. After all the plantation performance to be positive, is even ready for RSPO certification, I am trying to find other challenges and want to get bigger responsibility. Aside from being a leader in division and estate, I have also served as a Training Manager, Special function Manager, internal auditor member for the RSPO, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 and OHSAS. Also as Quality Control Manager at PT. BGA, I even asked to be moved to an estate and chose the estate that had the worst performance, so that it could be improved and gave an example on how to make a standard plantation. But BGA Management did not approve, still asking me to handle the quality of the plantation, workshop and Mill as a Quality Control team. At present, PT Olam International continues as Senior Agronomy Manager as a consultant, trainer and auditor. Diverse experience in improving estate, both in the fields of production, management, maintenance, cost control, and preparation for certification, I have high confidence to be able to handle bigger responsibilities.
