About Hamond Chandra

Hamond graduated from the University of Queensland (UQ) with a Bachelor of Mining Engineering and Mineral Processing Engineering (Minor) degree in 2006. He also graduated from the Curtin University with a Double Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and in Mineral Economics in 2014. Hamond has over 14 years of experience working in in various mine in Australia (Iron Ore, Gold, Copper, Nickel and Mineral Sands) in both technical and operational space. Hamond had also held many leadership role during those time. Hamond was working as a principal mining consultant in the last 3 years where he provided various consulting services for BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Fortescue Metal Group, Iluka Resources, Newmont Corporation. Hamond is a keen learner where he continues to upskill himself in various area. He enjoys problem solving and a process driven person which provide him with a systematic approach to understand the system. Hamond speaks fluent English, Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia. His current role- Managing Director for PT. Dian Purnawiraswasta and PT. Selo Agung where he overseas 4 quarries operation in Indonesia - Managing Director for Selo Group where he overseas other business unit developing the next project - Managing Director for Blastpro - Private Mining Consultant -> Provide boutique consulting services for clients in South-East Asia and Australia
