About Hana Whitebread

I am eager to become a beneficial, active member of the scientific community; to dive into research and laboratory practice as a 2022 BSc graduate and efficiently participate in the success of a flourishing company's projects.I have endeavoured to gain as much laboratory experience as possible despite challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, through maximising the University of Kent's laboratories at every opportunity to gain equipment familiarity and practical skills. This included practicing centrifugation, blood smears, microscopic techniques, accurate sample and solution measurements, spectrophotometry, western blotting, SDS-PAGE, ELISA assay and aseptic techniques multiple times throughout my degree. Enhancements in time management, motor coordination, Microsoft software proficiency and equipment calibration are skills I have also acquired during my study.Looking forward, I am enrolling in a physician associate course for 2024 entry at Hull York Medical School to further my interest in medicine, patient care and research.
