About Hannah Bell

I am a passionate and dedicated Lead Engagement and Participation Youth Officer at St Neots Town Council, committed to empowering young voices and fostering inclusive communities. In my role, I lead on creating and facilitating youth engagement initiatives across St Neots, including evening youth provisions, safe social spaces, and structured activities tailored to meet the diverse needs and aspirations of young people. As the facilitator of the St Neots Youth Council, I am deeply committed to amplifying youth voices and ensuring their perspectives shape the community. As a Designated Safeguarding Lead and Youth Mental Health First Aider, I prioritise the safety, well-being, and mental health of all young people under my care. With over two years of experience in a youth hostel setting, I have supported individuals aged 16 to 25 in developing resilience and life skills to achieve independence. I hold a Master of Arts in Youth and Community Leadership from the University of Northampton, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. I also manage a team of youth workers and volunteers, fostering collaboration and innovation within our projects. With extensive voluntary experience across sectors, including youth organisations, nursery settings, drug and alcohol services, and library services, I bring a holistic and inclusive approach to youth engagement and leadership. I am driven by a vision to create nurturing environments where young people can thrive, ensuring their voices are heard and their potential is realised.
