About Hannah Johnson

Recent graduate in Sociology, currently working as a supervised contact worker for Cambridgeshire County Council and continuing my ongoing learning journey within the Social Care sector, with a plan to complete a masters. I have a vested interest in supporting children and young people to break personal social barriers and reach their full potential. I enjoy learning about societal structures, social interactions/relationships and barriers that impact social change. Whilst completing my degree I found particular interest in class and gender divisions and completed my dissertation on barriers within grassroots football for women locally, receiving a first. My learning assisted me in further understanding social barriers for children and families within societies and enabled me to research social policy and further factors limiting opportunity for healing and change. I strive to enable others to make positive change, breaking patterns of limiting actions and become the best version of themselves.
