About Hannah Lottenberg

Aspiring clinical social worker with a passion for youth mental health, advocacy, and evidence-based care. I'm currently pursuing my MSW at Columbia University, specializing in Advanced Clinical Practice with a focus on health, mental health, and disabilities. At PS 191 Riverside School, I currently support students through one-on-one therapy, classroom engagement, and conflict mediation as a Social Work Intern. I also teach Pre-K and 5th Grade Judaica at Stephen Wise Free Synagogue, where I create and deliver weekly lesson plans that foster learning and emotional development. I’ve been a teen cancer advocate with Teen Cancer America for over a decade, where I’ve written articles, interviewed healthcare professionals, and spoken at events to promote young adult cancer care. I also co-founded and facilitated "The Real Talk," a support group for teens at weSpark Cancer Support Center. When I’m not working with kids or in the therapy room, you’ll find me dancing, catching Broadway shows, boxing, or staying active in cancer advocacy and queer community spaces.
