About Hannah Ringane

I'm Hannah I'm a passionate advocate for social justice and human rights first and a recent graduate of Cardiff University's Human Geography Bsc. As the founder of UKII- an initiative dedicated to raising awareness about social issues, fostering dialogue, and inspiring positive change; I'm committed to addressing systemic challenges and creating a more equitable society. Some of my key achievements from this include organising the largest peaceful demonstration in Midland's history in just 1 week, collaborating with amazing companies like LUSH and Action for Children, and publishing the zine 'Outspkn' which is available in UCL's library and select independent bookstores across the UK. As a Human Geography student at Cardiff University, I am passionate about understanding the ways in which society interacts with its physical and cultural environments. When I'm not studying, you'll often find me (badly) baking or diving into a good book. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have gained valuable experience in a variety of extracurricular activities. I have honed my public speaking and critical thinking skills through participation in Model UN and Debate Club, and have also dabbled in the world of coding, UX design and sustainability research. I am excited to continue exploring the intersection of human geography, social justice, and community development in my academic and professional endeavours. Let's connect!
