About Harold Wever

Since starting at ING almost 30 years ago, I’ve taken on a wide range of leadership roles across both business and IT. Along the way, I have built experience in areas such as mortgages, change and portfolio management, infrastructure, software development, core banking systems, and workplace services. The main drivers throughout this journey have been sustainable growth, simplification, and making a positive impact on society. I’m passionate about building high-performing teams in international environments, finding creative ways to simplify complex challenges, promoting Green IT, and being a loyal, reliable organizer. I’m also a certified information security manager and a trusted advisor at board level. My key competencies include endpoint management, sustainability, agile/scrum, DevOps, application development, outsourcing, and ICT infrastructure. My mission is to use my experience and network to make ING Tech operations more sustainable, transform it into a best practice within the industry, and contribute to making the world a little bit better.
