Hands-on experience in Education, Research, Data Analytics, and Quantitative Analytics. • Overall 16+ years experience in the Education sector with course assistance, curricula, course and lab design, and instruction at renowned institutions in Pakistan and Sweden. The curricula of all new degree programs (BS Artificial Intelligence, BS Data Science, BS Cyber Security, and BS Software Engineering) launched at GIK Institute since 2020 have been designed by me. Additionally, I was part of the National Curriculum Revision Committee (NCRC) at NCEAC, which designed the curricula for BS Artificial Intelligence, BS Data Science, and BS Cyber Security programs at the national level for Pakistan. • Overall 16+ years experience in the research sector with research in Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning and Deep Learning) applied in the fields of Healthcare, Bioinformatics, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision at renowned institutions in Pakistan and Sweden. • Have won several prestigious scholarships like HEC study grants for Overseas studies, Swedish Institute Scholarships for Masters and Post-doctoral studies in Sweden, and Carl Tryggers Stiftelse in Sweden. • Have worked in various administrative positions including acting Dean of Faculty (in absence of Dean FCSE), and de-facto head of department for Department of AI at GIK Institute since the inception of the department in 2020. • Have 6+ years of industrial and consultancy experience. • An excellent teaching evaluation of around 80+ percent in all taught courses with specialization in Artificial Intelligence courses (Programming for AI using Python, Soft Computing, Trends and Techniques in AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning), Programming courses (Introduction to Computing, Object-oriented programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, and Programming in Python). The programming languages I have taught/used during these courses include Python, C++, and Java. • Responsible for and initiated the establishment of the Artificial Intelligence lab at GIK Institute with 55 iMacs, and for initial procurement and setup of the Intelligent Computing and Research (iCaR) lab with 15 GPUs.
