About Hasse Lynggaard

I'm experienced within process and safety engineering in the oil and gas industry both offshore and onshore. I currently work as Senior Specialist at Ramboll Energy. I have participated as lead Process or Technical Safety engineer in a number of projects from conceptual design, FEED and detailed engineering. I have detailed knowledge of process safety and developing technical safety philosophies and strategies for design. Furthermore I work with both Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Assessments for offshore installations, mobile drilling units, crane vessels and detailed construction work. My skills portfolio also includes consequence calculations, frequency assessments, probability assessments, fault/event tree analysis, RAM analysis and Escape, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis. My work also includes Functional Safety including Safety Management, reliability calculations of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and determination of Safety Integrity Level (SIL). I have chaired safety workshops for over 10 years, the workshops include: HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA and Safety workshops. I have a PhD in catalysis and is author or coauthor on 8 peer reviewed scientific articles.
