About Hazel Chen

As a master graduate in Construction Project Management, Hazel is looking to gain the opportunity to join the Digital Engineering function within a Tier one Construction Company in a Graduate/Apprentice capacity. Hazel has a real passion for Digital Engineering/BIM, as reflected in the outstanding results she has attained for related courses. She feels this is where she can bring true value and energy to a prospective employer. Hazel has already shown an aptitude and appetite for innovation and ‘Lean’ construction in her thesis, where she designed and built an ‘Information Integration Platform for Scaffolding’. Hazel would like to achieve the following:• Help drive a culture of innovation within construction, and more specifically, using cutting-edge technology in the Digital Engineering/BIM space and expand her existing skillset• Become a Project Digital Engineer in her own right within the next three years, demonstrating her commitment and expertise learnt• Work in a role that allows her to demonstrate the true value and cost savings that can be passed on to both her employer and the client through effective and smart use of BIM and associated data sets
