About Heather Nathanson

As an environmental engineer I enjoy applying scientific and engineering principles to improve and maintain the environment to protect human health, nature’s ecosystems, and anything environmentally related. I have been passionate about this for as long as I can remember. I thoroughly enjoy problem solving, working on computer software programs like GIS (Geographical Information System) and doing whatever I can to contribute to the success of the firm I so proudly work for. In my current position I have plenty of opportunities to solve problems for water and wastewater treatment plants and engage in asset management, data analysis, GIS analysis, feasibility studies and more. I work with clients to help them implement the most economic and beneficial solution to their challenges. I have become an expert in conveyance solutions, underground pipe management, obtaining permits, the installation of water mains, sewer lines and more. The work is incredibly rewarding. I am currently located in Okinawa, Japan and open to remote or local positions. I look forward to connecting.
