My journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, where I graduated with Distinction in June 2022 from Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Since then, I've gained invaluable experience in both the retail and non-profit sectors, honing my skills in customer service, digital marketing, event coordination, and data analysis. Retail Expertise: As a Retail Sales Clerk at Not for Long Children’s Boutique, I spent six years immersed in the world of customer service. I managed various aspects of the business, from point-of-sale transactions and refunds to inventory management. My tech-savvy nature led me to maintain and design the Shopify online store, where I had the privilege of analyzing consumer trends to make informed product ordering decisions. My responsibilities extended to social media management, where I engaged with our community, attracted new customers, and built lasting relationships through trust and product knowledge. ‍ Member Services Pro: My journey took an exciting turn in February 2023 when I joined the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch, as a Member Services Assistant. In this role, I've been entrusted with creating and maintaining registration pages for webinars, seminars, and conferences. Additionally, I've developed a knack for video editing, ensuring that recorded content is ready for redistribution. My attention to detail shines in data collection and spreadsheet management, facilitating the creation of insightful reports on programming. I provide unwavering support to members, addressing inquiries, assisting with registration, and offering technical expertise. My role also entails meticulous event preparation, scheduling, and on-site support for large-scale conferences with up to 750 attendees. Community Builder: Beyond my professional roles, I'm passionate about giving back. During my time as a Student Assistant at Tamanawis Secondary School Girls Group, I had the privilege of facilitating activities and providing mentorship to a group of remarkable young women. I believe in the power of personal relationships and guidance to build strong communities. I'm thrilled to connect with like-minded professionals, exchange insights, and explore new opportunities.
