I love to help others feel supported in meeting their goals, I believe this is what has made me successful throughout my career. I enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life and assisting them in any way I can to be successful. I am always willing to go the extra mile to complete a task. I enjoy encouraging, training, and guiding others as a leader and manager, which I have had the opportunity to do in a number of my roles. My success comes from seeing those I support and work alongside also succeeding. My years of experience working for both large and small companies in multiple fields have provided me with the ability to be the "utility knife" of the office. For the majority of my career, I have had the opportunity to work as the Office Manager or Executive Administrative Assistant to the founders and CEOs. However, that title often also included many other roles within it, such as: • Accounts Payable, • Accounts Receivable, • Bookkeeper, • Human Resources, • Payroll, • Customer Service, • Project Manager,• Event Planner,• Vendor Relations,• Customer Relations, • IT I enjoy being able to step in and manage whatever needs to be done and have never been resistant to taking on and learning new roles or tasks. I have found that my willingness to take on new roles and my vast experience in numerous professions have been a great asset for many of my previous employers, particularly for start-ups and smaller companies. However, it has also been useful when working for larger organizations in having an understanding of how other teams and departments function, creating easier collaboration and workflow. My roles as a Sales Operations Lead and as a Continuing Education Coordinator both are great examples of how the skills, I have gained over the years can be applied to numerous positions within an organization. I am passionate about nature, animal rights, travel, the environment, and holistic living and would love to work for a company where I can utilize the skills I have learned over my career and that aligns with my passion and interest in creating a happier and healthier world.As we all know the last few years have proven difficult for many companies and unfortunately, many of my positions over the last 6 years have ended abruptly due to workforce reductions and budget cuts. I am looking forward to starting a new role where I will be able to grow and utilize my skills for many years to come.
