About Heidi H.

I am a linguistics graduate student with a strong academic background in language editing, psycholinguistics, multilingual communication, and experimental research. I have wide work experience: I have worked as a data entry specialist, marketing content specialist, salesperson and a librarian. These days I am working in Estonian Military Academy as a terminology specialist, working with linguistic data, as well as in Tartu University as an academic assistant, conducting experiments in the lab and grading the work of other students. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have managed social media content for niche audiences and participated in leadership activities within a women’s fraternity. I am particularly interested in the intersection of language, cognitive processes, and user experience, and I consistently prioritize responsible project management and sustainable workload planning. I am eager to connect with professionals and organizations working in linguistics, marketing and science, but overall I am open to anything that speaks to me. These days I love to work with translation and editing as a freelancer, and with my background in marketing and social media managing, I am more than happy to be your language and marketing consultant, to make sure the language use fits your targeted audience, as well as helping with your marketing and content planning, to maximise the reach to the targeted customer.
