About Heidi Harrison
I am currently enrolled at Durham College in the two year Culinary Management program. After obtaining my Culinary Skills certificate at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, I traveled to British Columbia to work for a couple months at Emerald Lake Lodge working as a line/prep cook this is where i gained my first experience working in a real kitchen, also where I learned many skills that I will use in my career including catering to groups of one hundred plus, preparing prep items for nightly service as well as learning how to make charcuterie boards and how to handle to dry-cured meats. Upon successful completion of my program at Durham College it is my intention to travel internationally to obtain unique experiences and cooking techniques with the goal to return to Ontario and open up my own restaurant.
