Inside every person is a spark. For some it burns like a raging fire and for others its more of a smoldering ember, yet we all share it. That spark is resilience, the will to persist and be part of something greater than ourselves. As a young child I was enamored and inspired by the wagon train diary of my great, great, great aunt and her family. Not only did she emigrate by herself from Sweden to Chicago at the age of 19 but then years later she embarked on the slow journey to Idaho. What was the theme? Why did she keep exploring to find a better life? Resilience. Love AND grit. As humans we all share something amazing and that is the GIFT of choice. What we DO with our spark is up to us and that is the gift of human experience. In each and every moment we have the option to raise our vibration by choosing ~ Love or fear Intrigue or assumption Growth or stagnation Compassion or anger Wholeness or separation Settling or Expanding Those choices stack up to create the patterns of life, the story we weave and leave behind and send ahead. The stories we create today are what will set the next stage of our collective evolution tomorrow. Over the past two decades, these patterns have become evident in every career, project, and passion that I have had the privilege of working on.
