About Helen Forman

With over 20 years’ experience in employment recruitment, I have dedicated my career to helping people unlock their potential and achieve meaningful, sustainable employment. My expertise lies in supporting vulnerable individuals, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and disabilities, by providing tailored guidance, skill development, and personalised employment pathways. I am passionate about inspiring confidence, breaking down barriers, and connecting people to opportunities that reflect their unique strengths. Over the years, I have worked extensively in competitive and supported employment settings, collaborating with employers to create inclusive workplaces and champion diversity. Currently, as Senior Employment Specialist at SMBC, I continue my mission to empower individuals, equip them with essential skills, and secure fulfilling employment outcomes. My approach is person-centred, strengths-based, and driven by the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive in the workplace.
