About Henry Jeffery

I am experienced in delivering internal and external stakeholder communications to Members of Parliament, local authorities and other key public sector partners. I have proactively improved communications channels through creation and implementation of an internal intranet site. Additionally, I have a track record of improving public relations through editing and authoring a monthly 'Enfield and Haringey Police' newsletter for over members of staff, 500 key partners and members of the public. I have planned and led engagement events to inform and assist reviews such as the 'Baroness Casey Review' and a 'Rebuilding Trust and Confidence Roadshow' within the Metropolitan Police. With a background in policing I am detail orientated and can be trusted to make difficult decisions under intense pressure. Having worked in a busy public sector organisation I maintain total professionalism and recognise the importance of accountability and integrity. In my personal time I am a keen runner with a Coach in Running Fitness qualification. I lead a team of coaches for the Mornington Chasers Running Club and co-ordinate training programmes for a group of over 1k runners. I manage a public Instagram page (with circa 1k followers) where I promote the positive benefits of inclusive running through my own lived experiences.
