About Heston Nguyen

Hi, I'm Heston Nguyen. I will be serving as the Finance Director for Etoile Academy Charter School for the 2023-24 school year. Before Etoile, I worked in the Tulsa Public School system for a year as a science teacher through Teach for America. I also worked in the search fund space as an analyst for Embark Partners while I was teaching. I graduated with my Master of Accountancy and BBA from Baylor University. At Baylor, I was a leader in our consulting group and I interned across big 4 accounting, non-profit consulting, and fintech marketing. I'm an analytical leader with a focus on data analysis, organizational culture, and people. I'm a big fan of technology, especially in the AI and blockchain spaces. I love to read, explore new areas of cities, study up-and-coming business trends, play the violin, and meditate in my free time. Some of my strengths include- Being a team focused individual - Due diligence research from a finance and personal perspective - Public speaking ability - Having a versatile skillset that can transfer across functions and industries I am always interested in finding out ways to help other peers where I can.
