I’m a public speaker, educator, and advocate with a passion for harm reduction, substance use education, and resilience. I bring lived experience, a Master of Science in Neuroscience, and a background in psychology and criminology to everything I do — whether that’s presenting to youth, developing safer substance use programs, or helping communities better understand the unregulated drug supply. Right now, I’m working as the Safer Substance Use Program Coordinator, where I get to focus on what I care about most: supporting people who use drugs through compassionate, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approaches. I’m especially passionate about creating spaces where women and gender-diverse people feel safe, respected, and heard. After experiencing a life-changing accident, I’ve come to understand resilience in a very personal way. That journey fuels my work and drives me to use my story to reduce stigma, promote safety, and connect with others in a real and meaningful way.
