Background

About Himanshu Negi

I am a Veterinary Pathologist with a postgraduate degree in Veterinary Pathology from GBPUAT, Pantnagar. My academic and professional journey has been shaped by a strong foundation in animal health sciences, hands-on diagnostic training, and research experience in emerging and re-emerging animal diseases. I have presented seminars on critical topics like Ebola Virus Disease, authored articles on goat pox virus and snail-borne parasitic diseases, and actively participated in national-level workshops (DST-SERB Karyashala, ICAR-IVRI; RGSC-BHU) to sharpen my diagnostic and research skills. Beyond academics, I have served as a Veterinary Officer under the Government of Uttarakhand, led university-level innovations (winner of Innovation Conclave 2022), and contributed to both co-curricular and community engagement initiatives including NCC, Vet Societies, and animal welfare campaigns. My interests extend into digital media, content creation, and science communication — having built online veterinary platforms, authored a co-published poetry book, and managed social media communities with 10k+ active members. Skilled in SEO writing, graphic design, and AI tools, I combine scientific expertise with creativity and communication. I am passionate about advancing veterinary pathology, poultry sciences, and public health through a multidisciplinary approach that bridges research, diagnostics, and innovation.
