About Hiral S.

I am Hiral Shah a biotechnologist with an intense 4.5 years of research experience. My demonstrated research experience includes DNA RNA and Protein isolation and quantification techniques animal cell culturing generation of loss of function and gain of function cell lines using Crispr Cas9 ex vivo gene editing in CD34+ cells hemopoietic stem cells and other basic molecular Biology techniques. My dissertation work has been published recently where we reported an engineered ESC line to study the spatio-temporal dynamics of the pluripotent and primitive endoderm compartments in the EBs during PE specification using fluorescent reporters. Currently I am working as Executive in the R&D lab at Micro CRISPR Pvt. Ltd. Here my work deals with carrying out R&D studies for strategies to develop cell and gene therapies for sickle cell disease Beta Thalassemia and HIV using gene editing technologies.
