About Holly Thompson

Holly is an executive leadership coach and organizational consultant who has served in multiple senior leadership roles for organizations since she launched her nonprofit career at the age of 23. Ever since, Holly has strategically partnered with a broad range of arts, education, healthcare, criminal justice and human service nonprofits with budgets spanning $1M-$150M to launch and expand critical community services, secure new partnerships, and assemble and support high performing work teams. Her work has led to significantly expanded publicly-funded early childcare services in the most underserved neighborhoods of NYC, start-up funding that built and sustained a criminal justice nonprofit in its first 5 years, and the seeding of a new palliative care program at a major Brooklyn hospital. Her support and counsel of nonprofit leaders at all levels has resulted in revitalized executive and board leadership, new/increased revenue, and higher performing and happier organizational cultures. These results have enabled organizations to grow and deepen their work and more meaningfully serve their communities. Holly holds an MPA with a focus on nonprofit management from New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service and a certification in Executive-level Nonprofit Management from the Columbia University School of Business. She is accredited as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation.
