Since graduating from Stanford, I have been an award-winning investment banker, a successful business owner, a results-driven CFO and an active board member and trustee. I have contributed admirably to many different work environments. I take greatest pride in communicating across a wide spectrum of audiences with different needs and expectations. Currently, I am looking for an opportunity with a small business or organization, ideally, but not exclusively with an education or public service orientation. Of what am I proudest? • Rescuing and then infusing enormous value into National Technology Transfer as owner-operator before a financially successful sale to a much larger education company • Shepherding our high-performing school district through precarious political times as a publicly elected Trustee over nine years • Establishing a more efficient operating model for a nonprofit and permanently enhancing its program efficiency • Speaking at dozens of industry, trade, education and government conferences, including at Stanford University’s Graduate Schools of Business and Education. • Building two award-winning research franchises at prominent investment banks • Earning my doctorate from Stanford University on a public policy subject (school choice) that was relatively undeveloped at that time Contact me if you need a Chief Financial Officer, Advisor, Board Member, Academic Director or even a muse.
