About Hugo Thompson

My background is in Industrial Design and I specialize in creating engaging spaces & products to give people great experiences with client's brands. I am passionate about finding sustainable solutions in the areas of circular economy, climate change and renewable energy. I seek projects where I can use my communication and design strategy skills to enable and support well-planned sustainable systems and communities. As a highly-motivated designer focused on the client and their end users needs, I have developed an in-depth knowledge over 15 years, working with clients on projects from initial concept to successful completion often within challenging budgets and time constraints. I enjoy working with clients at the early stage of projects identifying key challenges to create focused and effective design briefs and outcomes through design thinking methods. With an eye for detail, I have the technical skills, creating sketch concepts, 2D graphics & 3D visualisations and production drawings complemented by excellent communication skills, to successfully project manage and deliver on client’s expectations. I enjoy opportunities to collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams as well as expanding my skill-set and professional experience.
