About Iain Bruce

I am a software developer who is constantly seeking to self develop and explore new technologies. I specialise in MVC and have developed many enterprise applications. During these developments have chosen to use Razor syntax for view flexibility and I have heavily used JQuery, JQuery UI and Ajax.I have also completed projects using traditional.net webforms and winforms. I have worked on all.net versions up to current and and proficient in the use of Entity Framework.I hold a keen interest in studying software design principles and am constantly exploring better ways of structuring my software. I currently favour using units of work, Service and Repository layers contracted by interfaces. I believe that this offers a good level of abstraction, scalability and can lead to testable and mockable code.
