Iain Macfarlane is the Founder of BizCOACHING & Associates started in April 2004 in Madison, Wisconsin as a franchise of ActionCOACH Business Coaching. He was an expertise business writer for 4 years for the 'Capital Region Business Journal' and he was also the weekly radio host for 3 years of 'The Iain Macfarlane Business Program' on WTDY 1670. In March 2006, Iain was awarded Coach of the Year ActionCOACH North America for 2005 and in 2012 he was inducted into the ActionCOACH Global HALL OF FAME. In 2008 he certified as a Strategic and Operational Planning consultant. Iain spent his pre-school years growing up on a sheep station in outback Western Australia. After receiving his B.Ec. degree with Honors from University of Sydney and certifying as a Chartered Accountant, he received a Fellowship to attend graduate studies in the US at the East-West Center in Honolulu, Columbia University and the Harvard Business School. Iain’s early business career was in packaged goods marketing in the US and Australia. After successfully building the fastest growing advertising agency in Australia that he formed with two creative partners in 1972, he moved to the U.S. with his family in 1978 after selling to DDB in New York. He served for 10 years on the Board of Directors of the OMNI Hilton Head Island Resort Hotel. Iain spent 6 years heading up Polaroid International and Atari advertising for DDB in their years of major growth. He has since been President of 5 growth companies on behalf of two Venture Capitalists, a bank, a Public Company, and a privately held company. Iain works with Business Owners and Executive management teams in Strategic Streamlining, operational road-mapping, and re-forecasting for results through his proprietary Integrated Business Growth Process (IBGP) and V-CAAR(tm) financial management and analytical tool. In Nov 2016 he published an Amazon #1 Best Seller book on his life experiences.
