About Ibrahim Shaer

I have a bachelor's degree (B.Sc) in Computer science, a master's degree (M. Sc) in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering with emphasis on Machine Learning. I have 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Machine Learning Engineer and Researcher. As a research assistant and Machine Learning engineer, I implemented and deployed many ML models and solutions that outperform the state-of-the-art approaches and match the business strategies of industrial partners. During my academic journey, I have worked with/on- Supervised and unsupervised machine learning- Computer Vision (CV), time-series analysis, quantization, and anomaly detection problems- Transformer implementations- Distributed Learning and Federated Learning- Hyper-parameter Optimization- Actor-critic implementations- PyTorch, TensorFlow, and SQL- Git, python, CUDA C, and Go- Kubernetes, Docker, and Google Cloud Platform.
