About Ilaria Capponi

My name is Ilaria, I am an artist, graphic designer and art teacher with over fifteen years’ experience working with art education for children. My knowledge, enthusiasm and professional experience as an artist and educator has grown so much in the last 7 years living in London UK.I am originally from Rome, Italy where I studied Product and Graphic Design at La Sapienza University of Rome. After graduating in 2008 I began leading various Art and design workshops for children including a long-term project which focused on working with recycled materials in a creative and interactive learning setting. In 2015 I moved to London, UK where I continued to work as a freelance graphic designer and in art education leading workshops for children and in early years education working in nursey school/day care settings as an Atelierista. During this time, I also develop a graphic design business collaborating with music artist to develop and enhance their brands, album artwork, merchandising and content design for web and social media.
