About Ilil Alexander

A Non - Formal Summary: I went to study Law, but there were too many words and too many laws while I was eager to see faces, to hear the stories behind them, to help people change their personal narratives, Then, as they re-shaped their stories, I wanted to help them have the new empowering stories heard. The Tibetian have a word for that: They call it 'Gagcha'. Gagcha means the thing that never existed. it is just a story. a thought. Maybe a story about who we are. Maybe a story about who we should have been, what should have happened. But we BELIEVE the story to be our "true reality" and thus we suffer. We do not have to suffer. I am here to serve the change of the story. I am here to give myself and others the tools to do thatץ I was making movies for many years, but felt that in order to make a real change, we need to go interactive. so 10 years ago I decided to move to the digital learning arena, taking content that can benfit people's lives and break it into digital structure, language, content, so it can reach out to whoever needs it. In the last year I'm fortunate to be part of a crew leading the build of MyPwr app. MyPwr is designed to reach every human being, no matter where she or he is on the globe, so they can learn through Empowering Self-Defense how to set boundaries, verbal and physical, whenever needed, and change the culture of this world to be healthier and safer, for themselves and for others.
