About Imogen Barnes

As the Engagement (Communications) and Events Coordinator at Volunteering Queensland, I am passionate about promoting the value and impact of volunteering in the community. I have developed and executed various marketing campaigns to recruit and engage volunteers, as well as to raise awareness for the organisation. I have also coordinated the National Student Volunteer Week, a nationwide initiative that celebrates and showcases the contributions of student volunteers across Australia. I have managed the website, social media, and media appearances for the event, as well as designed the logo and other promotional materials. Additionally, I am currently undertaking my Master's Degree in Secondary Education, and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture from the University of Canberra, where I honed my creative and technical skills in design. I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges in the marketing and design field.
