About Indio Patel

I’m a driven and ambitious Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Liverpool, currently working as a Quality Engineer at Husco International — a global hydraulics manufacturer. In this customer-facing role, I ensure quality standards are maintained while directly supporting key clients, leveraging strong problem-solving and communication skills.Previously, I completed a year-long placement with Husco as a Manufacturing and Process Engineer, where I was deeply involved in new product integration for major clients such as JCB and Caterpillar. I led an international project that analysed and optimised a core manufacturing process, resulting in a 5% efficiency improvement. I also collaborated closely with a Six Sigma-level data analyst on root cause investigations, building my confidence in data-driven decision making. With experience working alongside design, manufacturing, and quality teams across global sites, I bring a well-rounded perspective and a passion for continuous improvement.Having recently completed my dissertation - which focused on modelling Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids using computational fluid dynamics - I’ve developed a stronger analytical skill set and a deeper understanding of engineering systems. Alongside my academic achievements, I’ve had the opportunity to visit high-level manufacturing sites, further broadening my practical insight into large-scale engineering operations.
