Dr Inge Van Boxelaer is a passionate endocrinologist and expert in diabetes technology, on a mission to improve the lives of those dealing with diabetes. Her goal is simple: to make sure both healthcare providers and patients are up-to-date with the latest in diabetes technology, ultimately raising the bar for healthcare quality.Dr. Inge Van Boxelaer has been practicing actively at AZ Sint-Lucas Hospital in Ghent since earning her endocrinology degree in 2013. As the president at the Belgian professional Society of Diabeto-Endocrinologists, she's deeply ingrained in the diabetes community. She also lends her expertise as a member of the general meeting of the Diabetes liga and advisory board of Diabetesplus, organizations that cover both Belgium and the Netherlands.In 2020, Dr. Van Boxelaer took her dedication a step further by founding Diabetotech. This initiative is all about transforming diabetes care through innovative technology. She's developed multiple courses focusing on insulin pumps and automated insulin delivery systems, personally testing each device to gain firsthand knowledge.With her multifaceted roles as a clinician, thought leader, and entrepreneur, Dr. Van Boxelaer is making a significant, positive impact on the diabetes community.
