About Isabel Lopez

As a Broadband Program Specialist at the U.S. Department of Commerce - NTIA, OICG, I have been a member of the Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program (TBCP) team since March 2022. This program provides grants to eligible Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian entities to expand broadband access and adoption on Tribal lands. My core competencies include leadership, project management, coaching, and process improvement, which I apply to ensure the program's and its grantees' success. I am also an instructor at UCR Extension, where I have been teaching courses on project management and Lean for over four years. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with learners from diverse backgrounds and industries and helping them develop their skills and competencies. Additionally, I am an advisory board member for several organizations that focus on organizational development, change management, and community engagement. I am passionate about empowering and enabling others to achieve their goals and potential.
