About Iulia Socea

As a professional, I wear two hats- Over the last 15 years, I have been resourcefully managing and supporting the implementation of international (capacity building) programmes and projects in development, humanitarian & peacebuilding settings, working with various international organisations, NGOs, and social enterprises. Special focus on gender mainstreaming, migration management, human trafficking, cross-border crimes, and human rights- In parallel, I draw on my over 15 years of work experience in the "9 to 5" setting, on research, observations, and insights to design and deliver powerful training programmes and to facilitate participatory workshops and meetings, with a desire to support organisations and individuals in untapping their conflict transformation skills, their communication abilities, and relational competences. I believe strongly in the value of work for systemic and inclusive change, guided by mindfulness, conflict sensitivity, gender awareness, and the Do No Harm principle. Geographically, my experience includes East Africa, West Africa, Bosnia - Herzegovina, Bangladesh, Cyprus, Lebanon, and Northern Ireland. Digital marketing, social media, and strategic communication for nonprofits is something I enjoy working on as side aspects of my ongoing work commitments and readily contribute my knowledge to ensure the success and visibility of the organisations I work with.
