About Jack McHugh
Animator//Filmmaker from Kilkenny, Ireland. My interest is in 2D Animation, Directing and Composing. I am excited to discover opportunities that would allow me to further explore these areas. I am currently working with the graphics team in TG4's headquarters in Baile na hAbhainn, Galway, Ireland. I graduated from the National Film School at IADT Dun Laoghaire with a First Class Honours BA in Animation in 2020 and since then I have been worked on a wide variety of projects in the world of animation, music and film. I was a resident of the OFFline Film Festival's Animation Residency, 2020 in Birr Co. Offaly, a 2D Frame by Frame Character Animator for Studio Meala, a Toon Boom Harmony animator with A Productions on a Cbeebies show in Bristol, England, a director of a short film that is currently on the BBC iPlayer and another one developed at the Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark and somewhere 'Inbetween' I found time to write, record and release an EP of original songs.
