About Jack Nicklaw

Good communication is necessary for all relationships-public, private, and professional. In business, the successful communicator is the successful professional. The key to effective conflict resolution is listening. It's the universal diffuser, and has even been known to prevent conflict from entering an intercourse in the first place. Having a broad base of skills from years in the non-profit, private and public sectors, my professional experience has always involved delivering exceptional client care. My customers have always included internal as well as external. My own job satisfaction depends upon my customers' satisfaction. If they aren't happy, I'm not. In support of my communication skills are my technical skills. The scope of these skills includes proficiencies in the Adobe and MS Office Suites, as well as the reigning champ of skills: the confidence to learn new applications-the result of years of experience using several proprietary accounting and database applications-both local and online. With expert keyboarding and 10-Key skills, I also have a working knowledge of computer hardware and networks, all stemming from an upbringing as a hands-on user of nearly all things mechanical and electronic. I typically accomplish my own troubleshooting. I am a hard-working, critical thinker. I am easy to work with, and of all the things in which I take pride, my positive attitude is the cream of the crop. My work must have meaning, and I succeed in finding meaning in every position I've ever held. My ultimate goals revolve around doing my humble part in helping those whose lives I touch-at work and at play-to move toward a compassion for all those we meet. At best, I'd like to see us all have an understanding of one another; at the very least, acceptance.
