About Jaclyn Harrison

After studying Journalism and Organisational Psychology in South Africa, I moved to London and took a job in Health PR. What I had imagined would be just a ‘foot in the door’ ended up sticking and I’ve never looked back! I love the pace, broad skillset, and variety that PR offers, and the amalgamation of science with creativity in Health PR more specifically. Previously a team leader and client point-person, I now work in a freelance capacity and am happy to get stuck into any aspects of the role. My areas of specialism include strategic planning, data and regulatory milestones, media relations, disease awareness campaigns, patient engagement, social media content, crisis and issues management, internal communications, workshops/training sessions, media events, panel sessions, executive profiling/thought leadership strategies and content, and health policy and market access communications. I’ve worked across disease areas, including oncology, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, infectious diseases, public health, and consumer health, among others. I’m a sucker for detail and love creating content. Now based back in South Africa and working remotely for international clients.
