About Jacob Jones

I have recently completed a Master of Biomedical and Health Science at Monash University. This is after a move to the east coast following the successful completion of a bachelor degree in Biomedical Sciences at The University of Western Australia. Looking to further develop my understanding of biomedical research and my passion for medical discovery using research techniques existing and emerging. Over the course of my undergraduate degree I developed an in-depth understanding of the different aspects following the structure and function of human biology. During this time I was introduced to various laboratory and research techniques. Moreover, my postgraduate degree and 9-month research project in Burns Research as well as a 9-week medical affairs internship has allowed me to further develop these skills whilst refining my scientific knowledge and stimulating future aspects of a career in Medicine. I aim to purse a career in biomedical science that will continuously stimulate, challenge and refine my emerging research skills with future aspects in surgical medicine.
