About Jada Matthew

Graduate of the Social Work program at TMU with a specialization in Disability Studies. My practical and educational experience spans various fields. I am focused on acquiring a deep understanding of Anti-Oppressive Practice and developing competency in policy analysis. My passion lies in supporting the aging population, individuals with disabilities, and young adults. Additional areas of interest and skills are as listed below- arts curation; given my passion for marketing which I have pursued via video creation for private clients in the past, courses that I take in university, and my years of experience in customer service, where in my latest work related experience in this sector was at Curate Social- a high end clothing boutique, bar and social space. To add, I have years of experience in dance and performance, having trained competitively in dance for years in my youth, participating in musical theatre and performance art classes- communications and networking; I pride myself on having the ability to make connections with ease, and finding ways to work with professionals in a variety of differing fields through my framework of understanding problem solving and collaboration.
