About Shea Dahuja

As the Director of Service, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at Family and Children's Services of Guelph and Wellington County (FCSGW), I lead a client-facing team that provides service through a DEI lens, ensuring cultural safety and responsiveness for diverse and marginalized communities. I also facilitate learning and development for new staff, volunteers, and students on how to make inclusion the way of service delivery. With over 20 years of experience in the human services sector, I am passionate about people, relationships, and trust. I have developed and implemented recognition programs, workplace culture initiatives, and strategic partnerships that foster equity, belonging, and collaboration. I am also a board member of Distress Centres of Greater Toronto, where I contribute to the governance and oversight of the organization. I hold multiple certifications in DEI-related topics, such as allyship, microaggression, and program development. I speak Hindi, Punjabi, Thai and Urdu, and I am always eager to learn from diverse perspectives and experiences.
